WHAT: Watch as preparations get underway for the annual Danada Fall Festival, including the grooming of some of the center's resident horses
WHEN: Visit the center on Wednesday, Oct. 10 beginning at 10 a.m.
WHERE: Danada Equestrian Center is located on Naperville Road, one-half mile north of I-88 in Wheaton.
WHY: The Danada Fall Festival is one of the District's largest annual special events, attracting over 10,000 visitors each year. Created as a "Celebration of the Horse," the festival features riding and grooming demonstrations, a parade of breeds, a musical drill-team performance, barn tours, hayrides and other equestrian fun. Visitors can also paint pumpkins, listen to live music, view local artists' works on display at the Nature Art and Photo Show, and enjoy the beauty of the fall season. The Danada Fall Festival will take place on Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
