Cicada Programs at Fullersburg Woods Nature Education Center

Cicada Citizen Science - Saturday, May 12

Learn identification and recording methods to help document the emergence of the 17-year cicada. Submit your findings, and receive results from the whole group. 10 a.m. to noon at Fullersburg Woods Nature Education Center in Oak Brook. Ages 9 and up. Reservations begin April 30. 17-Year Cicadas - Saturday, June 9

It happened in 1990 and won't take place again until 2024. Don't miss the 2007 cicada experience! Learn about these amazing insects, and ponder why they do what they do. 1 to 3 p.m. at Fullersburg Woods Nature Education Center in Oak Brook. No unaccompanied children.
